The Orderflow Inversions Model

Several orderflow concepts. One simple read.

I took the orderflow tools that matter and stacked them into one checklist. Each one is another confirmation from real orders, and that stacking is where the edge comes from. Because it's built on what actually trades and not on a pattern, it doesn't fade when more people learn it.

01Location

Where is price delivering from?

One of four locations, or several of them stacked together. The more that line up, the stronger the level.

Who's trapped?

The footprint and the heatmap show me the orders and the liquidity. I don't assume anyone is trapped. I see it.

03Inversion

Price reclaims the level.

The inversion triggers when price reclaims another VAH or VAL. The trapped side has to get out, and price rotates back toward value.

Why orderflow

Patterns are what's left behind. Orders are what moved price.

Most traders spend years drawing fair value gaps and order blocks, then blame their psychology when it doesn't pay. The problem was never the psychology. It was guessing at the orders instead of seeing them.

Guessing from candles

  • An FVG is three candles. Anyone can draw one, anywhere.
  • Order blocks are assumed. Nobody checks if the orders are there.
  • Wait for a candle to close through the gap. By then the move already happened.
  • No idea where the real liquidity is sitting.

Seeing what actually trades

  • LVNs are real gaps in volume, straight from the profile.
  • The footprint shows the actual orders. Absorption is seen, not assumed.
  • The heatmap shows where liquidity really sits before price gets there.
  • Trapped traders show up in the delta while the candle is still open.
